“Through my artwork I like to bring the outside in, reconnecting the viewer with nature and injecting a pocket of tranquility into peoples homes. I paint in acrylics and I focus a lot around water, I love how it continuously changes how it looks throughout the day; from crystal clear waters in the early hours to dark, velvety, blue waves at dusk.”
Georgie Harrison, Gee by the Sea
For as long as Georgie can remember, she's always wanted to be an Artist, painting according to her mood. Georgie reflects the beautiful surroundings that she encounters everyday (mostly down in Cornwall, also exploring new coastlines whilst hoping to extend those collections in the future).
Georgie uses vibrant colours to bring life and excitement into her work and she is forever experimenting with different tones and values. Through her artwork, Georgie brings the outside in, allowing the viewer to reconnect with nature. Mainly work in acrylics on both paper, wooden panels and canvas, Georgie often use circles that act as portals, allowing the viewer to step into the painting whenever they desire. Focusing a lot around water, Georgie loves how it continuously changes how it looks throughout the day; from crystal clear waters in the early hours to dark, velvety, blue waves at dusk. To give back to her main source of inspiration, the ocean, Georgie supports Surfers Against Sewage, with every painting sold whilst surplus donations go towards supporting their vital work protecting the ocean and marine life.
