Terrence Higgins Trust - 2023, Timed Auction

Paul Chisholm is a Contemporary British Artist whose work often deals with his HIV diagnosis, queer issues and the struggle for acceptance in a heteronormative society. Chisholm studied Fine Art at Nottingham Trent and Chelsea College of Arts, London.

AIDS, Hope & Love is from the series ‘The Lost Boys’ and depicts a young guy struggling with his diagnosis of HIV. Chishom says: “One of his biggest struggles is tackling the stigma associated with HIV and resulting mental health issues. He is looking for love, hope and acceptance, something which Terrence Higgins Trust gives in bounds to thousands of people every year. In its 40th year, let’s get that dosh out and support this amazing charity which saved my life when I was diagnosed via their life saving telephone helpline. As the saying goes "Love is all you need….”
