Juliane Kellersmann's paintings are a patchwork of layers, depth and distance. She welcomes an element of chance into her paintings, so rather than planning each brushstroke, she allows herself to be carried by the painting as she builds up layers of colour and texture. resulting in rich and generous abstract painting.
