Notes

Sapa Mist was inspired by the Vietnamese mountains in the Lao Cai Province north-west of Hanoi.

Gently printing different skylines on top of each other, the artist softly builds the landscape into a beautiful scene rich with elegance and depth. The fading shades of colour capture the different states and emotions of the natural world around us, be that an early morning view or moment of quiet before a heavy storm - peaceful moments that the artist captures so perfectly.

Matt Jukes is also including a monoprint triptych Under the Clouds and you can hear more about his printing technique in this interview
