Notes

Dan Devening is an artist, educator, curator, and gallerist based in Chicago. He’s currently a Professor, Adj. at SAIC. His work has been extensively exhibited nationally and internationally in Tokyo, Berlin, Vienna, Amsterdam, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago among others. As a curator, he has produced many local and international exhibitions and currently directs Devening Projects, a gallery project featuring exhibitions by emerging and established artists. 

Devening earned a MFA from the University of Illinois Chicago in 1983.
