Aleph Contemporary for AccessArt
19 NOVEMBER 2021 - 17 DECEMBER 2021Notes
I live in the depths of the countryside and during isolation each day I would take a camera and be inspired by the avenue of trees we planted and nature. I made this painting during Autumn with Italian tempera, enabling me to work up the surface. Walking down the avenue of trees we planted on a frosty autumn morning I noticed the fallen leaves popping out of the frost. With Italian egg tempera you can build up a beautiful
surface. Building up the surface, shapes emerged.
