"Within my practice, I investigate themes of societal memory, personal nostalgia, ‘naturalness’ and time. From audio compositions, I construct visual vessels that mirror the sounds form and extend it into the physical.
Landscapes, as external spaces and emotive internal ones, are important visual and figurative metaphors within my work. I question what constitutes a ‘natural’ landscape and a ‘natural’ sound? Navigating these landscapes, I reflect on the intangible spaces of memory." - Eleanor Beale, 2020
