"It's like living in an energy is an optimistic painting that creates a space outside of a restricted environment. Somewhere in between a map, a land/seascape and a natural phenomenon. I see it as a beginning. 

It’s quite a laborious way of painting that can only be appreciated when seen up close. The painting has two viewing points, one of those being the up-close which draws attention to the ‘handmade-ness’ and the fact it is made up of hundreds of unique colours, all hand mixed from a very limited selection of pigments." - Tim A Shaw, 2021
