Notes

Josep Barnadas is a recent graduate from Camberwell College of Arts. He is interested in uniting theatre with the fine arts. Barnadas explains, "My work is based on stories of fictional characters that I invent in order to translate them in the form of a set, installation, sculpture or drawing. I create spaces where the narrative of these characters can unfold by materialising and making physical the abstract concept of their stories."

OAR003-B tells the story of Álvaro, a fictional character trapped in between the ground and the outside space. With half of his body buried, Álvaro can not make way and he is found forever frozen having his body divided between the inside and the outside.
