Art for Ukraine

Hira Gedikoglu (b. 1994, Adana, Turkey) lives and works in Winchester, Hampshire. After graduating from the University of Oxford with a First Class Degree in Fine Art, she completed a postgraduate degree at the Royal Drawing School (2019). The character's and settings in Hira's paintings are inspired by an amalgamation of Ottoman and Renaissance motifs, with her own photographs of Istanbul. Her work is done in series, where each piece is a direct continuation of the last, exploring similar ideas often in different medium.
