‘“Green Hils” is a nod to Robert A. Heinlein’s story, titled “The Green Hills of Earth’. I painted it during the first wave of the Covid-19, 2022 pandemic when everything shut down – this painting was featured in the ArtMAze Mag, Anniversary, Issue 20.’ – Adam Easton

Adam Easton makes oil paintings using traditional materials and processes of application. Most of them rely on a surreal approach to painting, one that refers to art historical canons as well as the methods and materials of painting itself. 

Adam Easton (b. 1989), received a BFA in painting from the Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in 2016 and an MFA from the University of Minnesota in 2019. Adam lives and works in New Haven, CT. Easton has two significant upcoming exhibitions; one solo exhibition with PAPA in Minneapolis in May, 2022 and a further exhibition at Unit London which will be online.
