‘My surroundings, the city, and the public space are my most valuable source of inspiration. Silhouettes taken from pop culture appear which are pushed to the limit of what is recognizable. Chipped surfaces and semi-deserted industrial zones are full of treasures.’ - Xavi Ceerre
Xavi Ceerre is a Spanish artist born in Alcoy who lives and works in Barcelona. Though his primary medium is painting, Xavi also likes to experiment with coding, music, animation, or installation. Xavi holds an MFA in Painting from the College of Basque Country, Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea in Bilbao.
