About
Lynn is a visual artist specialising in all forms of sacred geometry across many traditions including mandalas, hindu yantras, Celtic pattern, Persian Pattern and Islamic Pattern. Lynn's preferred medium is watercolour, especially those made from natural pigments and minerals. She specialises in using gold and gold leaf. Each pattern is hand drawn using compass and ruler, never a computer. All measurements come from within the pattern and taken by the compass which requires precision in order to maintain the accuracy of the pattern. The energy of each pattern is unique. Art came to Lynn late in life following a breakdown in 2013. As a child, Lynn loved Spirograph, mazes and kaleidoscopes. Using colouring books helped to calm her mind and led to a desire to learn how to draw mandalas.
