From the artist's series Ebb Tide, this work features a handmade sign in the window of a 1950s-era motel along the New Jersey shore. The series depicts the midcentury modern motels of the Wildwoods, a group of small towns along a five-mile-long barrier island located in southern New Jersey. An impression of this image is featured in his book Everything is Regional.
