Matthew Lindop has an undeniable passion for architecture, buildings and structure and the artist confesses “their overall size and design can be both awesome and humbling.”

The majority of Matthew’s cityscapes come from London (as seen in Lot 49) the artist’s home and source of greatest inspiration. Matthew takes to the city’s streets and feeds off the inherent beauty of all its urban structures. Here in his illustration ‘London’, Matthew has brought all these together to create a fantasy line up of some of the best pieces of modern London architecture.

Matthew has undertaken commissions for The National Health Service, British Telecom, British Airways, Esquire Magazine and Kwik Fit.  The Professional Footballers’ Association and Transport for London have also purchased his work. He has exhibited throughout London, Europe and North America.
