Notes

‘Southbank’ is detail of The Queen Elizabeth Hall by the London based photographer Amelia Lancaster. Like ‘Beautiful Brutalism’, also being sold in the auction, it depicts a quiet, hidden corner amongst the bustling crowds of London's South Bank – a moment of escapism in the hectic life of the capital.

This time, the artist has tweaked the colours and contrasts even further and in doing so creates a colourful scene even more abstract than its original subject.
