A collaborative project curated by Raen Barnsley.
From a Safe Distance enabled 10 artists to creatively collaborate during a time when collaborative opportunities were almost nonexistent due to the national restrictions around Covid-19.
The project surrounds one shape which has been designed and reproduced ten times by multidisciplinary artist, Raen Barnsley. The shapes were sent to nine carefully chosen artists to work on in any way that they please. The resulting works provide an insight into how nine different artists interpret the same shape, whilst also allowing Raen Barnsley to experience her work from another’s perspective.
