Inception – Charity Auction for Make 2nds Count

'As the world wakes' is inspired by the early mornings when the sun is rising and the landscape is transformed in to a world of pink creating a 'other worldy' feeling. Living by the sea means I am lucky enough to see these moments out on the horizon when the light turns the sea pink creating a moment of drama and breath-taking beauty. 

Katy is an abstract artist working from her home studio in Edinburgh, Scotland. Getting inspiration from the Scottish landscape and coast line she transforms these landscapes in to abstarct form using layers and glazes of paint. Her work is characterised by the geometric shapes she includes within the landscapes as well as her use of colour and texture.
