Life on Venus II | The Human, Timed Auction
12 JANUARY 2021 - 28 JANUARY 2021Notes
Originally form Lithuania, as soon as got my passport left to London to look for myself. I started painting very young age , but then I used to try to escape the reality and draw nice colourful drawings. After some time, and a few years of therapy, I realised running away from my feelings is not the way, so I started to use my real emotion and mood as a starting point for all my art. It started of really angry and full of negative bursts. But it was a massive help for me to release all of those emotions and pain I had gained during the years. As the time passed I learned new techniques and ways to deal with my moods and you can defiantly see it in my latest work. My main themes are mental health ,sexuality and body imagine standards. As a person struggling with bipolar distorted not only my mood but my art changes daily.
