Life on Venus III | The Organic, Timed Auction

Alice Marshall creates landscapes that contemplate the possibilities of paint and surface. Beginning with an arrangement of awkward and wonky forms, this painted landscape is disrupted by physically cutting into the surface, only to be put back together again in a new imagined composition. Currently, Alice is looking at her paintings as objects in an environment, playing between intuitive colour choices and a more considered approach to form making.
