"I am a painter based in London. I graduated from Camberwell, UAL in 2019 and on graduating was awarded the Vanguard Prize. I’m now doing an MA in Painting at the RCA.

I tend to approach painting quasi-scientifically, viewing my subject matter as just matter which can be expanded, shrunk, stretched, dissolved, or replicated. I use hybrid, morphic forms which test recognisability and thereby explore liminal, non-binary states of being. I do not attempt to skew recognisability through reduction - this is not a journey into abstraction, but a journey out of categorisation. After all, painting is an alternate reality: where Newtonian laws of physics may be cast off, where time is compressed to a single plane, and where the physically impossible can occur."
