Mesmerism: North Coast Asylum curates

Lulu’s photography is about people, it’s about feelings, connections and stories. She loves working with her subjects to create visual narratives that are emotive and authentic. Lulu’s work has a distinct aesthetic and a dreamlike quality, with a naturalism in her close observations of subjects and environments. Lulu grew up in South Devon, she studied Fine Art Photography at University College Falmouth, graduating in 2009. Since then she has been living and working in London and now Cornwall, producing personal projects and commissioned assignments both at home and abroad.

Print collection blurb... By the Sea features a collection of limited edition fine art prints from an ongoing personal project by Cornwall based photographer Lulu Ash. During the summer of 2020, when the country was re- emerging from lockdown and people were free to enjoy the seaside once more, Lulu was enchanted by a heightened appreciation for the beauty of her local coastline. Embracing the growing crowds she captured these nostalgic scenes celebrating seaside culture on our shores.
