Notes

Michael Madrigali (b. Santa Barbara, 1985) lives and works in Chicago. He received a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2014. Madrigali's studio-centric practice uses the launching point of collage and additive processes to build worlds. These worlds are experienced in the selected scenes of his prolific painting practice which give a glimpse of fantastical landscapes and environments that at times have an uncanny resemblance to our world.
