Prairie Benefit Auction

Tim Mann (American b. 1990 in Woodstock, IL) lives and works in Chicago where he holds a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2013). His work deals with the operation of objects and images in and out of an exhibition context, centering the work's use-value over its perceived meaning. He is a co-founder and co-director of Prairie, an artist-run exhibition space in Chicago, as well as the Director at MICKEY, a commercial gallery that focuses on exhibiting emerging and mid-career artists. Recent exhibitions include Zakaib Projects (Chicago), Fri-Ends (Providence), Obst (Chicago)  Alter Space (San Francisco), SPF15 (San Diego), Faber&Faber (Chicago),  Lodos (Mexico City), BAR4000 (Chicago), Julius Caesar (Chicago),  Apparatus Projects (Chicago), and Baader-Meinhof (Omaha).
