Rebuilding Beirut with Pride (15/31)

Notes

My practice is driven by the play of occupying and controlling our surroundings. Through sculpture, installation, video and performance, I explore how spaces are used and inhabited. I am particularly interested in the sometimes tense and knotty relationship between private and public, looking for the boundary and studying the grey zone that we constantly transition between, from the domestic to societal. Working at these margins is akin to the act of play for me.

Graduated from Goldsmiths (Fine Art & History of Art) 2018. Awarded National Open Art NOA (Moving Image Category) Exhibited in: London, UK; Berlin, Germany; Stara Zagora, Bulgaria; Chemuyil, Mexico. Residency’s in: Bulgaria and Mexico.
