Bethany Hadfied’s practice bridges digital and physical spaces. She collects images digital images and rendered animations and translates them through acrylic and oil painting. She is fascinated with the image economy and the confines of the screen. Her paintings explore concepts of the self, ecologies and the uncertain realm of the future. Bethany graduated from Wimbledon College of Art in 2016 before attending the RCA in 2022 to complete an MA in painting. Recent shows include ‘Genus Loci XI’ (SETARETH, Düsseldorf) and NOW (Huxley Parlour, London.)
