A Studio Sale of 10 works of art direct from the studio of artist Charlotte Brisland.
“I'm trying to find a space between the sublime and the mundane. The pliable nature of paint means I can play with the context of things like light, distance and a silent narrative. I'm imagining a world which has gone quiet.”
Charlotte Brisland graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2004 and has exhibited in London, New York, Japan and Berlin. She won the prize for landscape in the Jackson’s Painting Prize 2018 and has been featured in ‘Create Magazine’ May 2019. Most recently Charlotte Brisland has been included in 'A generous space' for Artist Support Pledge at Hastings Contemporary.
