Surf Wood for Good (5/29)

Notes

Synergy
A unique and once in a lifetime collaboration between a photographer, artist and surfer who all have a love for the ocean, resulting in a creation that encapsulates the beauty of the sea and the art of surfing. Originating with one talented surfer then masterfully captured through a lens and transformed into a painting on a wooden bellyboard, exploiting the synergy between three creative individuals coming together for a good cause.

Ross Taylor
Lucky to call West Cornwall home, Ross spends most of his time in and around the Ocean. Finding photography later in life due to an injury sustained snowboarding, he’s made up for lost time by dedicating himself to capturing the action sports community around this beautiful part of the World. A passionate surfer he now finds himself regularly torn between jumping in for a slide or getting behind the lens to capture special moments for others to enjoy.

Phoebe Pocock
Based in Polzeath in North Cornwall, Phoebe is constantly inspired by the ocean and her home, resulting in a series of dramatic paintings capturing the power and raw energy of the surf Cornwall is renowned for. Her original paintings and limited edition prints showcase the ever-changing subject matter, creating unique compositions of the sea and the human figure navigating the waves.
