Felipe Chavez is an artist born in Colombia and working in London. Through his paintings created with Indian ink on paper, he uses his own body to explore his personal struggles that come with feeling different and trying to find where he belongs. How by being open and revealing through his art, he can create a sense of power and control over who he is and who he chooses to exhibit.

In his latest artwork I Cried In My Hallway Last Night he delves into those moments where he is so immersed in his practice that he loses sense of where he is and how he feels: art for Felipe is a diary of his healing process and a witness to his mental state.
