Notes

British Sculptor Richard Hudson was born into a farming family in Gloucestershire and now lives and works in London, after spending nearly two decades in Spain. He has built up an international reputation as one of the major artists working in sculpture today, being exhibited across Europe, Asia, America and UAE. His organic sculptures are shown internationally and collected widely.

First conceived in 2005 and exhibited shortly after by Sotheby's at Chatsworth in their ‘Beyond Limits' exhibition, Hudson's Love Me sculpture has been subsequently commissioned in varying sizes for public spaces and sculpture parks around the globe, including Mexico, California, Dubai and in Taiwan.

This work is the last one available in an Edition of 9. Whilst conceiving this piece, Hudson first thought about black holes (hence the hollow in the sculpture), the creation of the universe, human life represented by both the male and female form, but ultimately this work stands as a global symbol of love, peace and unity.
