An abstract landscape inspired by nature, With The Lights Turned On, was painted during an artist's residency in Northern Germany.

Often saturated with colour and echoing with botanical references, her pieces are timeless and are reminiscent of 18th century Rococo paintings like Jean-Honoré Fragonard's The Swing. 

Julianne's art is a patchwork formed of layers, depth and distance and is a product of years of training. Studying at the Academy of Fine Arts Enschede her work evolved into abstract landscapes inspired by the calming and balancing nature of colours.
