Notes
John Taylor strives for simplicity, clarity and a harmonious colour palette in his work which draws inspiration from the St. Ives School.
The geometric language specific to John's work is informed by his collage work where carefully chosen cut outs are arrange within the picture frame. Memory Of An Icon is painted using impasto oil to draw attention to the painterly nature of these works in comparison to the flatness of collage.

Awards: Fulbright Scholarship awarded by the British Council to live in the USA lecturing on the value of art as a multicultural tool in global education.
