This work appears photographic from a distance yet a closer look reveals a digital mosaic of over sixteen thousand hand drawn triangles.

Andy Walker individually draws each digital triangle using a tablet and stylus. This painstakingly methodical process can take up to four weeks to complete one single image. Corniglia, Cinque Terre alone is made up of 16,822 triangles. 

Corniglia is an Italian village on the north-west coast of Italy. Inspired by the light, colour and texture, Andy created this image to capture the warmth, vibrant colours and natural beauty of this glorious coastline.

Andy Walker has a foundation degree in Illustration and Photography from Stroud College, Gloucestershire. His work has been exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery and the Chelsea College of Arts. Andy's work is regularly shown at art fairs, exhibitions and festivals throughout the UK and Europe.
