The Weatherproof Anniversarial

Frank Peralta is an interdisciplinary artist and fabricator dually based out of Miami and Chicago. Their work uses poetry, collaboration, land care and pleasure politics set in apocalyptic landscapes to fantasize environmentally informed mythologies and archive images of queer folktales. Their Fabrication and costume work are further extensions of this practice that has allowed them to work with institutions such as The Art Institute of Chicago, The Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago, IL), and The Chicago Cultural Center.
