Art Aid Ukraine

During a teaching career of more than twenty years spent facilitating the creativity of others, Falmouth-based ceramics and glass artist Jane Smith has also consistently produced her own body of work.  Now free of teaching duties, she can pursue her career as a full-time artist. Her chosen media are black clay and glass which she combines creatively in a constant search for balance and harmony. Her work explores both the differences and the commonality between these two apparently diverse materials.  She exhibits widely, selling her work through select galleries and the National Trust.  Connections amply demonstrates that two forms, crafted from disparate materials, enhance one another to produce an object of dignity and poise.
