Art for Ukraine
01 APRIL 2022 - 25 APRIL 2022Notes
‘I am interested in how an image survives over time only to re-emerge in new contexts. In my paintings, I try to bridge traditional iconographic motifs with personal experience and contemporary aesthetics. My aim is to portray narratives that, while referring to a body of art historical knowledge, still remain open to new interpretations.’ – Barbara De Vivi
