Martin Beek was born in 1958 and graduated with a degree in Fine Art from Exeter University. He has been a practising artist and teacher ever since. Painting in Oils is his main medium but also has a considerable body of work in digital illustration, iPad art, photography and ceramic tiles. In recent years Martin has completed residencies at Wellington College and Marlborough College, demonstrating plein air painting and giving talks and tutorials. He is the artist-in-residence at Camp Walden, Michigan where he was formerly arts & crafts director.

Artwork is in fair condition. Textured and glazed surface in tact. Some damage (a crack repaired with glue on reverse) but item is stable.
