Art Makes Lives Better

Born in Carmarthenshire, Wales in 1931, Tom Nash studied at the Llanelli School of Art and Swansea College of Art from 1949-54. He is an artist and teacher using a wide range of materials including retroflective plastics. A travelling scholarship took him through France in 1963 and his work is held by academic institutions and the National Museum of Wales in Cardiff. This painting was acquired for the Paintings in Hospitals Collection in 1969.
