Statement about AOAP Submitted Artwork
Isabelle’s work draws inspiration from our belongings and surroundings throughout history, from Prehistoric artefacts to Contemporary objects and environments. Through drawings, paintings and imagery, Isabelle demonstrates how we collect, store and cherish possessions and spaces, and how they can provide comfort and familiarity, and act as a vehicle through which larger narratives of ritual and domesticity can be carried.
