Notes

Gerald Mak is a Hong Kong born artist based in London. He recently completed his MA in Ceramics and Glass at Royal College of Art in  2020. 

Working with clay has provided Gerald a tangible way to reflect on his evolving experiences and relationships. The selection of work in this auction stems from his interest in furniture made in clay. They are maquettes for speculative larger pieces.

Education: Royal College of Art 2018-2020. 

He was featured in Zolima City Magazine in the article Meet Hong Kong’s creative diaspora in London 2022, and an emerging talent feature in Ceramic Review One to watch, and UK Crafts Magazine Talent Spot feature
