Dinner for 10, hosted during 2025 Berlin Gallery Weekend

This dinner invite is an exclusive experience for up to 10 people at the private residence of Dirk Boll, Deputy Chairman of 20th and 21st Century Art, Christie's. The dinner will be hosted during the 2025 Berlin Gallery Weekend (24/04 to 27/04/2025). The excluded date would the Saturday, since that is the evening of the main event. 

Dates available (winner would choose one) - Thursday Dinner/Friday Dinner/Sunday Lunch (all during the 2025 Berlin Gallery Weekend)

Notes


Prof. Dr. Dirk Boll studied law in Göttingen and Freiburg (Br.) and had his judicial traineeship at the Higher Court in Stuttgart and the German Chamber of Commerce in Brussels. He wrote his Ph.D. thesis on distribution systems for art and the legal framework of the international art market. A post graduate study in Art Management in Stuttgart-Ludwigsburg earned him a Master of Art degree. He joined Christie's in 1998 in London in the 20th Century Art Department. Following four years as a German Christie's representative based in Stuttgart, he moved to the Zürich office in end of 2004 to take over the position of Managing Director of Christie’s International AG, Switzerland. In 2011 he was appointed European Managing Director and moved his office to Christie’s London, King Street. In 2017 he took over the position of President Christie’s EMERA (Europe & UK, Middle East, Africa) and today, he is the Deputy Chairman of 20th and 21st Century Art at Christie's. 

Dirk Boll is also a lecturer at the University of Hamburg on the subject of Art Management. He publishes regularly in various daily papers and international magazines and has a quarterly column in the Swiss newspaper Handelszeitung. Since 2009 he published seven books on various aspects of the art markets, collecting or museum development.
