Notes

Designed in London, the POPek balloon dog sculpture pays a cheeky homage to Jeff Koons' large scale Balloon Dog.

Born in eastern Poland in 1982, Whatshisname (Sebastian Burdon) is a multimedia and digital artist now living in London. A long time advocate for innovative mediums, he created his first digital artwork at the age of 7 on an Atari 130 XE computer using a text editor.

Whatshisname's art celebrates an alternative to the ordinary. Through his work, he aims to encourage the viewer to look at their surrounding world and question all that they see in a derisive, unorthodox way.

His moniker “Whatshisname” was in part inspired his mis-remembering of names and, by Green Day’s 2004 track Whatshername.
