Nikki Gardham is a visual artist based in London. Her work draws from memory and imagination to recreate landscapes and places – most of which are amalgamations of memories, stories and dreams. In the studio, Nikki switches between drawing, painting and printmaking to overcome any blockages of memory or self-consciousness.
Nikki studied at Cambridge School of Art before being awarded a scholarship to the Royal Drawing School, completing the postgraduate Drawing Year in 2013. Since then she has also taught as a freelance art educator, running creative and philosophical workshops for youth and adult audiences in public galleries and museums across London.
