Mark Edward Harris is a documentary and editorial photographer based in Los Angeles. In his series, North Korea, Harris was allowed access into the reclusive country to photograph the daily life of the people who live there. By documenting the Soviet-era architecture, military figures, and sparse city life, Harris illuminates a country riddled with dense history.
Mark Edward Harris’s editorial work has appeared in publications such as Vanity Fair, LIFE, The New York Times, The Washington Post, Time Magazine, Newsweek, Conde Nast Traveler, National Geographic Traveler, Wallpaper, Vogue, and Architectural Digest, among others.
