Jo (b.1989) is a contemporary abstract painter based between Cornwall and London.

Meditative, suggestive and fluid. Jo’s work draws on the colour and shapes of the emotional landscape that surrounds her. The water-like movement of the cells of colour are reminiscent of the physical landscape that is all around her coastal studio. Her work though documents mostly internal topographies. The push and pull, working collectively, often depicted through abstracted references to mythology.

Jo has sold works internationally, including at Christie’s Auction House. She has also worked with large international brands, such as Volcom.
