Studio Sale | Alex McIntyre

In 2020, Alex was invited and selected to be exhibited in Beyond Other Horizons, at Iasi Palace of Culture, Romania 2020, a British Council / Romanian Cultural institute / UNAGE show. Whilst staying in Iasi for the opening conference of the exhibition, she visited a monastery in the hills around Iasi. She was struck by the low light, the muted colours and the throb of fields and blues in the distance. She produced this painting on her return to the studio.
