Originally from Slovenia, Ervin Cirikovic describes himself as a British studio potter. Based in London, Cirikovic works out of the Maze Hill Pottery as apprentice to Lisa Hammond MBE. 

Cirikovic creates quiet, simple forms with an emphasis on the functional qualities of each piece and using local raw materials. He has a particular interest in soda and wood firing, bringing a level of unpredictability that gives individual character to each pot, making them timeless pieces that can be passed on from one generation to the next.
