Bobbye Fermie's dreamlike watercolours portray a sense of intimate stillness and softness that, through her choice of subject, colour and often minimal size, she relates to her own characteristics as a female introvert.
A stage was imagined for Bobbye's character in ‘Laundry Sunday’ blending in with her intimate home surroundings.
