One of a series of works on paper, relating to the Pandemic and Lockdown and the future of the planet. Also an Obituary for Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a tireless campaigner of Human Rights.
I graduated with an MA on September 11th 2001, I painted George Bush with a Kalashnikov aimed at him by Osama Bin Laden. This became the precursor of one of my two obsessions: the first being The War on Terror, and the second being an unyielding recreation of newspaper Obituaries.
