Jo Angell works as a painter and printmaker from her North London garden studio. Her process often begins with scavenging her surroundings for shapes and forms. These can be as diverse as a contemporary urban building or a riverside marshland both equally loved by her. Her abstract work, also reflects her obsession with colour and pattern.

Jo transitioned to painting and printmaking after a career as a designer of graphics and textiles. 

Her current work has been selected for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition 2021.
